Minutes, Council Meeting   Monday 4thMarch 2019 6p.m. Village Hall Sledmere

                  Minutes of last MeetingThe Minutes of the Parish Council meeting 3rdDecember 2018 having been circulated were approved and signed.

 

1.Matters arising  The steps leading up from the Triton Car Park and pothole School House Dale Wetwang Road had been repaired

2.  Eleanor Cross  Clerk read the recent e-mails. Gez Pegram of Mason Clark was the appointed engineer. The specification as approved by WMT has been sent to three conservators plus Graciala Ainsworth of Glasgow if Peter Pace can contact her.

3.Accounts.  Cheque for £60, 5 meetings 4.3., 8.5.,1.7., 7.10 & 2.12.19 @ £12 per meeting referred to at the end of the Minutes of Meeting 3.12.18 was approved, drawn to Sledmere Village Hall, signed and handed to Councillor Robson, Village Hall Trustee and Treasurer. ERYC acknowledge receipt of precept 2019/20 for £1,000 to be paid 30.4.19. Band D billing for the Parish will be £12.92, a decrease of £16.46 (49.09%) to 2018/9.

4.  Clerk’s Business  i. Clerk read e-mail from NHS East Riding CCG of improved access to GPs, nurses or other healthcare professionals evenings and weekends. He had placed a Notice in the MNotice Board and given a copy to Councillor Treen to insert in the Parish Council Website.

       ii. He had informed PCSOs Faye Nicholson and Steve Sharp of the dates of Parish Council meetings. PCSO S.Sharp confirmed awareness of poaching, Green Lane issues and 2 thefts of lead from the Church roof.

      iii. There will be another Village Taskforce Walkabout this year. Jennifer Douglas has this in hand.

      iv. This is Lord Swinton’s last meeting as Clerk. Jennifer Douglas is taking over. Her e-mail is j.douglas@hull.ac.ukthough she will have a specific e-mail address for Clerking. Her telephone number is01377538768. The Clerk has informed all concerned. He wqas co-opted as a Parish Councillor from 1.4.19 so he can continue to assist her as required, and signed the Declaration of Office and of Interests, countersigned by Jennifer as Clerk, and dated 1.4.19 

 

5.A.O.B.  The Clerk will e-mail ERYC Customer Services requesting the provision of a litter bin where traffic parks at the top of Longwood, Bridlington Road and deposit litter, and at the entrance to Cherry Wood opposite.
