It would appear that one bank confirmed that they had managed to locate £6000 but Halifax were proving to be extremely difficult, there appeared to be some difficulty with security questions as members of the original committee had deceased , although the Clerk thought that Mrs. Walker as treasurer should know them. Halifax confirmed that they were aware of the account but had no idea where the money was and suggested that Mr. Owen contacted another department regarding the remaining £11,000. Mr. Owen agreed to attempt to sort this out and would report back he also confirmed that Mrs. Walker was attempting to find out some of the security answers. Mr. Owens also suggested that the monies be distributed between the remaining schools although he stated that several people had suggested that the money should go into the core budget of the schools which was totally different to what the money was agreed for. The Clerk also hat a argued that a meeting would have to be held once the money was located before any funds could be distributed.
